About me

I’m Anna, the creative and owner of Tornn Studio

Ever since I can remember I have loved all things creative, from graphic design to illustration, fashion to photography, and everything in between. I started Tornn Studio out of necessity, the thirst to design and create, a desire for freedom, both creatively and personally, while working with like minded people and aspiring brands.

After several years of living abroad and travelling this beautiful little world of ours, I resettled back in Christchurch where I was born and raised.

Along the way I have had the chance to work with some incredible brands and agencies gaining invaluable experiences and skills. This, in not only my everyday life, but especially my creative work has allowed me to draw upon inspiration from so many different eras, cultures and perspectives.

When I’m not working at Tornn Studio, you can find me chasing after my beautiful young boy (he’s fast) Brooklyn, or planning our next adventure away with my husband Catlin, generally with a coffee in tow.

The studio name came from the idea of being Tornn in two directions but instead of choosing one path, one direction. Merging the two to make a beautiful contrast to showcase a multifaceted idea, business and concept. 

A play of soft & hard, organic &, geometric, colour & monochrome, feminine & masculine, playful & serious. Which is a design strategy that I love to play with that works so well to show all sides of your brands personality.

I aim to collaborate with aspiring brands to develop beautiful creative with substance and purpose in which to elevate your business and captivate your audience, while empowering you to have the confidence to embrace your visual identity and show it off to the world!
